Theme: Current situation and perspectives of health and safety policies in France
Damien Jourdes as a degree in Law and a Master of Social Law at the University of Montesquieu Bordeaux 4.
He is currently Deputy Director of Labour in DIRECCTE Aquitaine and responsible for Health Service and Working Conditions, since November 2008. In this service he has the special responsibility for prevention of occupational risks and the developing for institutional partnerships, particularly in the following aspects:
• Animation of a regional multidisciplinary team;
• Participation in the reform of the occupational health services;
• Participation in the Regional Plan for Occupational Health;
• Technical and methodological assistance for the agents of Labour Inspection.
From 2006 to 2008 he was Work Inspector and Supporting Resources and Methods within the Regional Directorate of Labour. From 2002 to 2006 he was working inspector in the section of Labour Inspection of the Seine-Maritime, Normandy.
In 2001/2002, he was work Inspector in the Eure department, responsible for the implementation of the 35-hour support in enterprises and combating illegal employment. In 2000/2001, has successfully integrated the examination for admission to the profession of Labour Inspector at the National Institute of Labour, following an initial training of 18 months.
