Fernando de Almeida Santos, elected President of the Northern Region of the Engineers (OE), for the three years 2013 -2016, born in Braga, has 45 years old and graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Minho (1991). He is a specialist engineer on “Safety Engineering” assigned by the Engineers Order (2000), with a Masters Degree MBA – Construction Management and Property at the Instituto Superior Técnico of Lisbon (2003). He is a member of the National Executive Council of the OE since 2004 and Vice-President of the Directing APSET – Portuguese Association of Health and Safety at Work, since February 2007.

Among other companies that are connected, is the CEO / General Coordination of Tabique-Engineering Ltd, a company providing services in the area of Safety Coordination and Health at Work in Construction. It is frequently invited lecturer in postgraduate courses related to the area of Management and Coordination of Safety in Construction Work, national and international levels.
